The Toyota RAV4 is an SUV that has maintained popularity thanks to its comfort and performance. Our team at Toyota of Santa Maria thinks there is a version of the RAV4 that will be perfect for just about everyone in Santa Maria. Let's take an in-depth look at the six trim levels currently available for this Toyota SUV.

RAV4 LE

Like the entire lineup, the entry-level RAV4 LE has a four-cylinder engine and an eight-speed automatic transmission underneath the hood. The output is 203 horsepower, making driving around San Luis Obispo and Los Angeles. Front-wheel drive is standard, while all-wheel drive is an available LE option. Inside the cabin, this RAV4 comes with an 8-inch touchscreen, a six-speaker sound system, and the wireless versions of Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The Toyota Safety Sense 2.5 bundle is also standard for the LE trim, giving the RAV4 adaptive cruise control, a lane-keeping system, automatic high beams, and forward-collision mitigation.

RAV4 XLE

The XLE builds off the strong list of features found on the LE. It adds a power-adjustable driver's seat and dual-zone automatic climate control. There are also more USB ports for added convenience, plus keyless entry and ignition. The XLE is also the first RAV4 trim level to come standard with blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert.

RAV4 XLE Premium

Drivers living near Oceano should also consider the XLE Premium trim level. In addition to all of the features mentioned above, this SUV gets a sunroof, LED fog lights, and a power liftgate. This model has striking 19-inch alloy wheels. Inside, the XLE Premium has synthetic leather upholstery.

RAV4 Adventure

The Adventure trim level of the new RAV4 loses the sunroof and power liftgate found on the XLE Premium. At the same time, it gets rugged features such as taller roof rails and fender flares. It has extras like off-road driving modes and hill descent control, helping you explore further around Grover Beach and beyond. This trim level even comes standard with all-wheel drive. The synthetic leather upholstery inside the RAV4 Adventure has orange contrast stitching to help it stand out.

RAV4 TRD Off-Road

Like the Adventure trim, the RAV4 TRD Off-Road comes standard with all-wheel drive. It sits on 18-inch wheels with all-terrain tires. The TRD Off-Road has an off-road-tuned suspension as well, along with a front skid plate. The sunroof and power liftgate found on the XLE Premium come back for the TRD Off-Road, and the interior has head-turning red accents. This model is also the first to upgrade to a 10.25-inch touchscreen for the infotainment system.

RAV4 Limited

The top-of-the-line Limited model of the new RAV4 builds off the XLE Premium. It does not have the extra off-road features, but it gives you quite a bit more luxury to enjoy around Arroyo Grande. For example, the RAV4 Limited has heated and ventilated front seats and a power-adjustable front passenger seat. It has the same 10.25-inch touchscreen found in the TRD Off-Road, plus a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster. You even get an 11-speaker sound system when you choose this top trim. Both front and rear parking sensors are standard, making driving the RAV4 easier.
