Can the 2020 Toyota Sequoia Go Off-Road?

Sometimes you need a little bit of excitement in your life. The daily grind might be enough to get you through each day, but something in you longs to get out into the wilderness a bit more. Do you have a car that can take you on that adventure?

Not every car is up to the task, but it’s not impossible to find one that is. SUVs are known for their flexibility and rugged capability. However, not every SUV is created quite the same and some are better equipped to handle off-roading. The 2020 Toyota Sequoia TRD Pro is designed specifically for fun and adventure.

Inside and out, the 2020 Toyota Sequoia is ready and able to take on the world. One of the biggest differences for the Sequoia is the Fox shocks. These shocks are made specifically for off-roading and give the Sequoia a unique ability to handle any terrain. It also has four-wheel independent suspension and plenty of ground clearance.

The other thing giving the Sequoia the juice to go off-road is a hefty 5.7L V8 engine. The amount of power you’ll get is incredible. This engine puts out 381 horsepower and 401 lb-ft of torque. It’s paired with a six-speed electronic automatic transmission to give you a smooth driving experience. The Sequoia can tow up to 7,100 pounds with its integrated tow hitch and an available tow/haul transmission mode.
